Bohemoth

Words and Photo by Jessica Tobin

These great bones

Too heavy of a burden for the ground

So they were given up

These are the bohemoths that nature fell

All of these bones and spines and spindles

The wood is littered with them

Monuments to self renewal

These things that had lived for so long

Now nothing but floor fodder
